Build with the macOS SDK

Add native customer messages, screenshot feedback, telemetry, and reply notifications to a Mac app.

macOS SDK availability

BTXClientKit has native macOS support for customer messages, screenshot feedback, and product telemetry, with APNs integration for support and feedback replies. The minimum supported system is macOS 13.

Version 3.5.0 adds macOS to the same BTXClientKit package used for iOS. Follow Installation to add the package.

01

Choose your integration

02

Use one integration order

  1. 01

    Configure and identify

Configure BTX once, then identify the customer after sign-in or session restoration.

  2. 02

    Register host windows

Add .btxMessenger() to each SwiftUI window root, or attach each AppKit window.

  3. 03

    Connect support and feedback

Present the SDK from customer-initiated buttons or menu commands. Enable .logs only when your app needs telemetry.

  4. 04

    Add push when needed

Configure APNs if customers should receive operator replies while the app is inactive. Messaging works without push.

Community, Help Center presentation, native campaign UI, video attachments, and shake-triggered feedback are outside the current macOS integration scope.
