It also covers information BTX receives when you choose to sign in with Google, connect Gmail or Google Calendar, upload recordings, import audio files, or otherwise sync third-party data into BTX.

- Account and profile information, such as your name, email address, avatar, sign-in method, invite status, and workspace membership.
- Content you create or store in BTX, including project context, notes, messages, business data, customer data, and support or feedback submissions.
- Audio and recording data, including audio files you capture or upload, transcript text, titles, timestamps, and related metadata.
- Connected account data that you authorize BTX to access, such as Gmail threads, email metadata, Google Calendar events, and basic Google account profile information.
- Device, session, and usage information, such as browser or device type, operating system, app version, IP address, timestamps, cookies, and diagnostic logs generated when you use the service.
- Permission-related information, such as whether microphone or notification access has been granted on your device.
3. How We Use Information
- To create and maintain your account, authenticate you, and keep BTX running.
- To sync and display the project, email, calendar, and recording data you choose to connect.
- To store, transcribe, summarize, analyze, and organize recordings and workspace content so BTX can provide product, workflow, and business-context features.
- To send service communications, sign-in links, product updates, and notifications you request or enable.
- To secure the service, prevent abuse, troubleshoot issues, and improve reliability and product quality.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms, policies, and platform protections.
4. How We Share Information
We may share information with service providers that help us operate BTX, such as providers for hosting, authentication, storage, notification delivery, email, transcription, and AI-powered product features.
If you connect Google services, BTX will exchange data with Google at your direction so the product can authenticate you or sync the Gmail and Google Calendar data you choose to connect.
We may also share information when necessary to comply with law, respond to valid legal process, protect rights or safety, or as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, or similar business transaction.
5. Retention
We keep information for as long as it is reasonably necessary to operate BTX, maintain your account, provide requested features, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, and satisfy legal, accounting, or security obligations.
Some content, such as recordings or synced workspace data, may remain available until you delete it, disconnect the related integration, or ask us to remove your account data. Backups and logs may persist for a limited additional period.
6. Your Choices
- You can choose whether to sign in with Google, email magic link, or email and password when those options are available.
- You can decide whether to connect Gmail or Google Calendar to BTX, and you can disconnect those integrations later.
- You can manage device-level permissions such as microphone and notifications through your device settings.
- You can delete individual recordings inside BTX, and you can contact us to request access, correction, export, or deletion of your account data.
7. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information processed through BTX. No method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Children's Privacy
BTX is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to BTX, contact us and we will investigate and take appropriate action.
9. Changes To This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make a material change, we will post the updated policy here and revise the "Last updated" date above.
